We have identified the root cause affecting customer DNS zones, and our teams are now developing and testing a solution to restore all impacted zones as quickly as possible.

Investigating

On Thursday, May 29, a change to an internal DNS cleanup script was deployed as part of a routine core release to our internal systems. Following the release, an unintended consequence resulted in some valid customer DNS zones being inadvertently affected.

Our teams are actively engaged and have prioritized identifying impacted customers and zones. This process is well underway for the restoration of affected DNS zones.

We will provide further updates as more information becomes available and recovery progresses.
