On Friday, December 10, 2021, a vulnerability for Log4j was announced in CVE-2021-44228, and this vulnerability impacts the cpanel-dovecot-solr service which runs on cPanel servers. An update has been published by cPanel to mitigate this vulnerability and we will be pushing this update to affected servers on our network today December 15, 2021 at approximately 9 PM EST.
